DESCRIPTION

Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosty Structural Bonding Epoxy is a two component, 100% solids, moisture insensitive, structural epoxy adhesive used in concrete repair. Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy is a low viscosity epoxy system that can be pressure injected or gravity fed into concrete. It can be used as a binder for making epoxy mortar. Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy meets ASTM C 881 Types I and IV, Grade 1, Classes B & C.

WHERE TO USE

Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy System is ideal for a non-skid broadcast system.  The low viscosity resin can  gravity feed cracks in horizontal concrete and masonry Pressure injection of cracks in structural concrete, masonry, wood and other substrates .  Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy  is excellent for epoxy-mortar floor toppings and patching on dry, damp, or wet structural materials which are free of standing water.  It is also an efficient penetrating impregnation to seal dry, porous substrates, and as an adhesive for broadcast systems.

Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy   will produce a high strength, non-shrink epoxy grout when mixed with up to 3 parts of  Epoxy.com Product #75 Filler.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface to receive Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy  must be clean and sound.  They may be dry or damp, but free of standing water.  For impregnating sealer application, substrate must be dry.  Remove dust, laitance, grease, curing compounds, impregnations, waxes or other contaminants by sandblasting, abrading, or wire brushing.  If applied to steel, the steel should be sandblasted, wire brushed, or prepared by other suitable means.

MIXING

Combine 2  parts  Component A with 1 part  Component B. by volume  The blend should be thoroughly mixed for at least three minutes with an Epoxy.com -Mixing Paddle  on a low speed (300 to 600 rpm) drill.

APPLICATION

Patching:  To prepare Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy as an epoxy mortar, slowly add approximately 3 parts by loose volume of Epoxy.com Product #75 Filler to the mixed Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy.

Floor Topping  Prime spalled areas with Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy; apply with a broom or 3/8 nap rollers.  While prime coat is still tacky, fill level with Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy  Mortar. Use screeds to strike off level.  One-gallon of Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy, mixed with 3 parts by loose volume of Epoxy.com Product #75-Filler will produce approximately 600 cu. in. of epoxy mortar.

Impregnation:  On smooth surfaces, apply approximately 112 sq ft / gal. of Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy  with a rubber squeegee or roller to dry substrate.  Allow time to penetrate.  Squeegee off excess while still liquid.

LIMITATIONS

  • Do not thin Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy; solvents will prevent proper cure.
  • Applications at temperatures below 50°F will prolong cure.
  • Use only oven dried aggregate to avoid encapsulation of moisture.

PACKAGING

Epoxy.com Product #308 Ultra Low Viscosity Structural Bonding Epoxy  is packaged in 3 gallon and 15 gallon units which will be weighted in the proper proportions. and continue to mix to a uniform consistency.

CAUTION

"A" Component contains epoxy resin

DANGER! "B"Component contains alkaline amines;strong sensitizer.  May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses.

Use with good ventilation, particularly if material is heated or sprayed.  Prevent all contact with skin or eyes.  Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams.  Keep container closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling.

FIRST AID:

In case of skin contact, immediately wash with soap and water.  in case of eye contact, flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least fifteen (15) minutes.  Remove contaminated clothing shoes.  If irritation persists, seek medical attention.  Wash clothing before reuse.

If any product fails to meet this warranty, the liability of Epoxy.com will be limited to replacement of any non-conforming material if notice of such non-conformity is given to Epoxy.com within the warranty period for the material (as indicated above), or within 1 year of the delivery of materials (whichever is sooner). Epoxy.com may in its discretion refund the price received by Epoxy.com in lieu of replacing the material. No customer, distributor, or representative of Epoxy.com is authorized to change or modify the published specifications of this warranty in any way.
