INSTALLATION

All surfaces which are to be coated with Epoxy.com  # 893 must be free of contamination such as curing compounds, concrete hardeners, bond breakers, paint, etc. We recommend water-curing concrete instead of using concrete curing compounds. All surfaces must be clean, dry and sound. Do not apply over damp concrete. Sandblasting is recommended when possible, otherwise acid etching and wire brushing may be sufficient.

Coverage: 250 sq.ft. per gallon on porous surfaces. Up to 350 sq.ft. per gallon on smooth surfaces.

Do not over apply the primer. All water must be allowed to evaporate before application of the deck coating or joint sealant. For best results, the surface that has been coated with Epoxy.com  #893 should be coated over within 8 hours. If for some reason the primer is allowed to totally cure to a hard glass-like finish, the surface should be sanded and reprimed with another coat of Epoxy.com  #893 before coating over with our deck coatings or joint sealant. Epoxy.com  #893 may be applied by brush, roller or spray.

Clean Up: Clean tools with detergent and water. Use disposable roller cover and discard properly after use.
