Our polyester wood filler bonds fine to clean dry non-pressure treated wood. No primer is required. The bond to this would is greater than the tensile strength of the wood. In simpler terms for Epoxy.com Wood filler come off the wood it is attached to (when properly installed to the right wood) it will pull the layer of wood it is attached to off with it. Any bond strength greater than that would be academic and have little practical use.

Most polyesters are only good for 6 months or less.
