GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Epoxy.com CR-ME Flooring is a fluid applied chemical resistant flexible resilient flooring system for concrete floors in mechanical equipment rooms. The resiliency of Epoxy.com CR-ME Flooring provides sound-deadening qualities and cushioning under-foot. Epoxy.com CR-ME Flooring has excellent adhesion, abrasion resistance, impact and high chemical resistance. The surface characteristics of Epoxy.com CR-ME Flooring can be varied to accommodate the degree of skid resistance, appearance, and chemical resistance.

ADVANTAGES

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface must be clean and sound. Remove all dirt, laitance, grease curing compounds and other foreign matter by sandblasting, or mechanical abrasion. Remove water and dust from all surfaces with an oil-free blast immediately prior to application

MIXING AND APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

For smooth installation with Urethane Membrane: Mix Epoxy.com Elastomeric Membrane according to instructions and apply at a spread rate of 50 square feet per gallon. Back roll with a spiny roller as required to release the air.

For smooth installation with Flexible Epoxy: Mix Epoxy.com Flexible Epoxy according to instructions and apply at a spread rate of 50 square feet per gallon. Back roll with a spiny roller as required to release the air.

For anti-skid installation: Mix Epoxy.com Flexible Epoxy according to instructions and apply at a spread rate of 120-130 square feet per gallon. Broadcast sand to excess while membrane is still wet. Allow to cure. Sweep and vacuum up excess. Sand if required and re-vacuum.

Top-coating: Apply appropriate finishing coat according to instructions.

LIMITATIONS

  • Substrate must be sound clean and properly prepared
  • Substrate temperature must be a minimum of 50° F for proper cure.
  • Concrete should be 28 days old prior to installation
  • SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

    Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause eye and skin irritation. If contact occurs, wash immediately and seek medical help. Use safety glasses with side shields and wear protective rubber gloves.

    CLEANING

    All tools and equipment should be cleaned before the system gels. Use MEK, Acetone, or any lacquer solvent.
