Epoxy.com PRODUCT #418, a black, self-leveling, liquid applied, two-component polyurethane system, designed to form a tough rubber membrane impervious to moisture.

Type I: For horizontal surfaces

Type II: For vertical surfaces

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Composition: Polyurethane elastomer. A two-component system, which does not depend on atmosphere moisture to cure.

Basic Uses: Once cured, Epoxy.com PRODUCT #418 allows expansion and contraction over a broad temperature range and maintains flexibility and waterproofing properties under continuous exposure to water above or below grade. Epoxy.com PRODUCT #418 has a thixotropic consistency and may be used on vertical as well as horizontal surfaces. Epoxy.com PRODUCT #418 remains flexible from -75o to 175oF.

Suggested areas of application are as follows:

· Waterproofing in between slabs, such as parking decks, roof decks or courtyard areas over subterranean parking.

· Waterproofing exterior walls or foundations and basements or other structures that are to be backfilled.

· Waterproofing inside planter boxes.

· Waterproofing under terrazzo or tile floors.

· Waterproofing under shower pans, kitchen, laundry and bathroom floors.

· Waterproofing of occupied areas under malls, plazas and promenades.

Water Tanks: Epoxy.com PRODUCT #418 has been used with outstanding success as a lining for emergency water storage tanks. The Epoxy.com PRODUCT #418 fills and covers the crack and because of its flexibility, allows them to move with changes in temperature. The product is firmly bonded to the substrate so water cannot flow underneath the lining as it does with sheet lining materials. The Epoxy.com Product #886 or #888 Primer must be used before applying the Epoxy.com PRODUCT #418.

Advantages:

· Applied cold by spray methods, brush, roller, squeegee or trowel.

· May be applied over concrete, stone, brick, cement blocks, wood, metal, asbestos and most other surfaces.

· Epoxy.com PRODUCT #418 cuts cost of application by eliminating mixing, splicing, sealing tapes, adhesives and other labor consuming methods required when installing other conventional types of waterproofing systems.

· The superior flexibility and elongation properties of Epoxy.com PRODUCT #418 allows expansion and contraction with the substrate, without cracking or becoming brittle.

· Excellent adhesion, combined with the elastomeric qualities of Epoxy.com PRODUCT #418 makes the use of protective covering prior to backfilling unnecessary, unless the backfill material contains crushed rock. On in between slab applications, a protective board must be used.

· Does not contain any potentially hazardous coal tar.
