Epoxy.com Product #713

Epoxy Dowel Bar and Anchor Bolt Adhesive

Note:  This product is not a stock item and requires a larger minimum order.  For most applications Epoxy.com Product #702 will get the job done as well  or better than this product.  Product #713 has a very short pot life (6 minutes).  Product #702 has a longer pot life (10 minutes).  This effectively doubles the working time after it is mixed. This longer pot life results in a product that is easier to use and because of that can yield better results.

DESCRIPTION

Product #713 Dowel Bar and Anchor Bolt Adhesive is a two component, thixotropic, fast setting epoxy adhesive. It is specifically formulated with an easy to use, non sag consistency. The special high function resin system allows cure in temperatures as low as 20 F. The non-sagging properties will permit the material to be pumped or gunned into horizontal holes for anchoring rebar or steel bolts. Epoxy.com PRODUCT #713 exceeds the requirements of ASTM C 881-90 Types, I, II, Grade 3, Class A

PRIMARY USE

  • Setting steel dowels in roadways.

  • Anchor bolts in horizontal, vertical, or overhead application

  • Sealing surface cracks, when injecting low viscosity resins.

  • Bonding hardened concrete to hardened concrete, where good gap filling properties are essential including wood.

ADVANTAGES

  • Minimum energy required to extrude through double-barrel hand held guns and static mixer or air and electric driven pumps with static mixers.

  • Will bond to wet or dry surfaces.

  • May be feather-edged and will not shrink.
